Visitech exhibited at SEMICON West 2026 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco from 13 to 15 October. For a technology company like Visitech, it is always a pleasure to be back in the heart of Silicon Valley – and what an event it was with hardly a quiet moment over the three days!
From first contact to real requirements
Many of the conversations went well beyond a first introduction. Visitors came with their own processes in mind and wanted to know how direct imaging could fit into them. Several were looking to move to a proof of concept quickly, and many had process requirements that differ from a standard setup.
This is where our role as a subsystem supplier makes a difference. Visitech delivers a complete direct imaging subsystem, with optics, electronics, firmware, and software, that machine builders integrate into their own equipment. Adapting that subsystem to their specific process is a natural part of how we work with our partners.

Positive response to LLS1000
SEMICON West was also one of the first chances to discuss our new LLS1000 photohead in person. With 1 µm L/S, it is the finest line our lithography photoheads have drawn, and the feedback on the announcement during the show was very positive.

Our new LLS1000 can print features less than 1µm CD with down to 40nm Line Edge Roughness while maintaining stepper-like production speed. We believe this system will fit state-of-the-art packaging applications, and we got a lot of traction and attention for this – confirming our belief!”

Next stop: San Jose, Phoenix, and Shanghai
The number and range of contacts made the decision about next year an easy one. SEMICON West moves to the Phoenix Convention Center in Arizona from 30 March to 1 April 2027, and Visitech will be there.
We will next participate in the SPIE Advanced Lithography + Patterning Conference in San Jose, USA, on February 23–24, 2027, followed by SEMICON China and CPCA, both taking place in Shanghai, China, on March 24–26, 2027.
